Why a gram
The amount your body actually needs each day is a fraction of a gram. Higher single doses are common in vitamin C products because absorption falls off as the dose climbs, so a large dose does not put a proportionally large amount into you. What it does mean is that a gram is a comfortable margin rather than a precise target.
The B complex and the minerals are the quieter half
Thiamine, riboflavin, niacin, B6, folate and B12 are the vitamins involved in getting energy out of food. The potassium, magnesium, calcium and sodium in the formula are the electrolyte minerals. Neither half is exciting and both are the reason the bottle is more than a vitamin C tablet.
What it will not do

How many do I take?
Follow the directions printed on the bottle, or ask the pharmacist. We do not publish a dose here because the bottle is the authority and it travels with the product.
Is it the same as the vitamin C at the pharmacy counter?
Not quite. Most plain vitamin C is vitamin C alone. This one carries the B complex, zinc, manganese and the electrolyte minerals as well. Whether that is worth it to you depends on what else you already take, which is a good question for the pharmacist.
Can I take it with the Xtreme formula?
Ask the pharmacist. They can see everything you are taking, including prescriptions, which we cannot.
